Dick Anderson Construction Names Kyle Kastelitz as President

Dick Anderson Construction (DAC) has named Kyle Kastelitz as the new President of the company.

Kastelitz has built an impressive career in construction over the past two decades, and previously served as the Civil Group Manager in Billings, Montana, where he oversaw the company’s Heavy Civil Division. He’s played a key role in delivering complex projects across the region, including wastewater treatment facilities, bridges, infrastructure development, and renewable energies.

“I’m proud to announce our transition to a new president, Kyle Kastelitz, and confident in the leadership he brings to this role,” Marty Schuma, DAC former President and now CEO and Chief of Business, said. “He has demonstrated exceptional oversight and stewardship of our Heavy Civil division, paired with a deep understanding of construction operations and what it takes to deliver complex work safely and successfully.”

Kastelitz graduated from Montana Tech University and built an impressive career in construction over the past two decades. Since joining DAC as a Project Manager in 2013, he has demonstrated true commitment to DAC’s values: pay attention to detail, exceed client expectations, show integrity in all we do, and always be part of the solution.

“Kyle is firmly committed to upholding the values that define Dick Anderson Construction and has earned the respect of teams across the organization,” Schuma said. “His ability to lead multiple teams with clarity, accountability, and trust positions us well for continued growth and long-term success.”

As President, Kastelitz will provide strategic leadership across all operations, support continued growth, and help advance DAC’s commitment to quality construction, client relationships, and community impact.

“I’m honored to step into the role of President, and grateful to be part of this incredible leadership team,” Kastelitz said. “Dick Anderson Construction has a strong foundation built on five decades of being true to our word and our values. I look forward to leading us into continued success and strategic growth as we expand our presence across the Western U.S.”

The announcement comes as DAC is celebrating a few major mile markers: 50 years of business and their expansion into Phoenix, Arizona and Downers Grove, Illinois via their recent acquisition of Chanen Construction in 2023.

Former president Marty Schuma has moved to the role of CEO and Chief of Business after nearly 17 years as President. He will continue to oversee DAC projects with a specific focus on DAC’s Phoenix operations.
