Dick Anderson Construction Renovates 1942 Casper Serviceman’s Club
The Casper Serviceman Club, originally a World War II enlisted club, underwent a $2.6 million, five-month renovation by Dick Anderson Construction to fix water damage, improve accessibility, and preserve its historic murals. Upgrades included a new roof, modernized heating and cooling, new siding, bathrooms, and improved access for visitors with mobility challenges. Great care was taken to protect the 15 WWII-era murals, and the interior now allows for more flexible displays and expanded exhibits highlighting Wyoming veterans’ stories. The renovation ensures the building’s longevity and a more welcoming experience for visitors. The museum will reopen on May 16 with a special ceremony.
