A Helena Landmark Restored by Helena Locals

Growing up in Helena, Max Mader and Joshua Tubbs were never not under the watchful eye of the “Guardian of the Gulch”—the iconic Helena Fire Tower. Now, the two work as carpenters with Dick Anderson Construction, and were a key part of the beloved landmark’s restoration.

“[The Fire Tower] is one of the longest-lasting structures in Helena,” Max said. “It’s a really cool project to be a part of. Especially being two local Helena boys.”
