Daylis Stadium renovation in Billings reaches major milestone as grandstands go up
The renovation of Daylis Stadium in Billings, Montana, is progressing steadily, with new grandstands recently installed and visible construction milestones achieved. The project, which began in February, aims to modernize the stadium and attract larger athletic events. Major upcoming work includes laying new turf and installing a new track surface. Once complete, the stadium will feature improved seating, dedicated locker rooms for each high school, expanded visitor facilities, and upgraded concessions. School officials believe the enhancements will not only improve the experience for athletes and spectators but also bring more statewide events to Billings. The first football game in the upgraded stadium is set for August 27, and fundraising efforts are ongoing, including a donor recognition program featuring a Wall of Honor inside the facility.
“We’ve really kind of carefully scheduled this project around those three main aspects; our grandstands, our turf and our track, everything is really coming together in these last couple of months of the project,” said Roman Domke with Dick Anderson Construction.
