Billings’ Daylis Stadium reconstruction ‘slightly ahead of schedule’
It always feels good when a customer is able to tell the world, “we’re ahead of schedule.” As the Billings community eagerly awaits the grand opening of a new Daylis Stadium, our team is working hard and on track to complete the project before the first football game on August 27.
The Daylis Stadium renovation is significant: a $14.9 million total investment, with funding split between $6.25 million in school district money and the remainder from fundraising. Upgrades include new grandstands, field turf, four locker rooms, upgraded concessions, bathrooms, and a revamped main entrance behind Billings Senior High School.
The track is being expanded to a full 10-lane flat layout, which is expected to bring back premier meets like the Billings Invite and host divisional or state meets every other year.
