Our bridge work

We have played a big role in helping address the region’s infrastructure needs by constructing road, highway and railroad bridges for public and private clients. As traffic increases and aging bridges deteriorate, we will continue to put our bridge-building experience to work to maintain a transportation network we can depend on.

Case Studies

Bozeman, Gallatin County Bridges

Tight deadlines, weeks of subzero temperatures, keeping traffic flowing, and dewatering bridge sites were just four of many challenges DAC faced on a yearlong, $9.7 million project to remove and replace or upgrade several bridges in Bozeman and Gallatin County. For the West Bozeman Interchange Project, two bridges were razed and replaced with one bridge that includes four driving lanes, two lefthand turn lanes and 5-foot shoulders and sidewalks. Underpasses at Bear Canyon, Fort Ellis, L-Street and Valley Center were upgraded to strengthen them against earthquakes. A deteriorating Montana Rail Link Bridge expansion joint was removed and replaced.
