Job Summary:
Dick Anderson Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex commercial construction projects in Sheridan, WY.
This role represents the highest level of project management within the company and is responsible for the successful delivery of high-revenue, multi-phase projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Senior Project Manager sets the strategic direction of assigned projects, maintains executive-level client relationships, and oversees project teams to ensure performance in safety, schedule, budget, and quality.
This position is best suited for a proven construction leader with a track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and multiple project teams simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and direction for large, high-value construction projects
- Manage and mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field leadership
- Maintain direct relationships with owners, architects, and key stakeholders
- Oversee project financial performance, including budget, forecasting, and cost control
- Lead contract negotiations, risk management, and change order strategy
- Ensure successful execution from preconstruction through final completion
- Collaborate with executive leadership on project strategy and resource planning
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- 10+ years of construction project management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects (e.g., $20M+ or similar complexity)
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and profitability
- Experience working directly with owners and high-level stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with projects in healthcare, education, or complex commercial sectors
- Background working for a general contractor of similar size and scope
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability across teams

Job Summary:
The Carpenter is responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and general building construction tasks at various residential, commercial, and/or industrial job site locations. This position works under the direct supervision of the Foreman/Lead Carpenter.
Qualification Requirements:
- Previous construction experience required.
- Basic understanding of stud layout and rough framing
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license and/or reliable means of transportation to job site locations.
- Must provide own basic hand tools.
- Employer provides specialty tools and equipment.
- Must be able to interpret and apply verbal and/or written instructions in English.
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs basic layout work for new construction and/or remodels.
- Constructs and positions concrete forms for footings and foundations using power and hand tools. May occasionally help pour concrete. Disassembles forms when concrete is set.
- Installs and sets floor joists, frames floor, and lays down sheets of plywood to build the sub-floor.
- Builds exterior/interior walls, stands walls up, and braces/secures them into place.
- Installs protective sheeting around exterior walls for a weather barrier.
- Frames openings for windows and doors.
- Hangs exterior/interior doors and exterior windows.
- Installs roof trusses and sheets of plywood and lays roof sheeting.
- Performs finish work, including installing inside trim pieces, sanding, staining, and/or painting.
- Loads and unloads materials and supplies from trucks/trailers at job sites.
- Packs materials to specific areas at the construction site as needed.
- Performs housekeeping and keeps work area clean throughout the project and removes trash and debris. Will shovel, sweep, and pick up materials by hand.
- Performs demolition duties of existing structures as needed.
Non-Essential Job Functions:
- Operates forklift to move materials only if forklift trained/certified.
- May drive a company vehicle to run errands or pick up supplies as needed.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Physical Demand Classification:
- Carpenter is a Heavy Duty job, according to the Selected Characteristics of Occupations Defined in the Revised Dictionary of Occupational Titles, U.S. Department of Labor and Industry. Heavy Duty involves exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds continuously to move objects.
