This new 48,250-square-foot facility is located in front of the existing Benefis hospital. The location and orientation of the building were chosen to reinforce the continuation of care and help direct focus to the existing Benefis hospital. The building is three stories and has many architectural features, including curved glass curtain walls, a two-story atrium with a suspended art feature, and extensive natural-lighted waiting areas with views of the Rocky Mountain Front.

Dick Anderson Construction started this project shortly after the COVID-19 outbreak and completed the project on time during the pandemic while not charging the client for any price escalations. This is not a common statement throughout the construction industry, as most projects have encountered delays due to material shortages and price escalations due to the ongoing inflation of materials. We encourage you to call the client to hear how DAC lived up to our slogan, “Always part of the Solution”, and how we made the project an enjoyable, stress-free experience for them.

The secondary phase of this project involves renovating and improving much of the existing Great Falls Clinic Hospital building. As these facility improvements are completed, they will progress into 2024. Completing several renovation areas within the operating clinic will challenge DAC. While working in an operational medical facility, DAC must mitigate noise, dust, and vibration from construction activities, all of which are inherent in the construction industry.
