Northwestern Energy
Headquarters

Project
Highlights

In need of a new Headquarters, Northwestern Energy commissioned DAC to act as lead GC/CM for the project. The completed building, located in Uptown Butte, Montana, is nothing if not decadent. Five total floors are made up of 9.5 miles of clear vertical grain fir walls, with copper accents woven throughout. 95% of the internal spaces allow for natural daylight, while the brick exterior features more copper accents and LED displays to light the cornices at night. The fifth-floor employee break area is complete with an outside deck and a green roof. Perhaps most importantly of all, the building has achieved LEED Gold certification, ensuring its positive impact on its occupants and the environment.
