AC Marriott —
Bozeman

Project
Highlights

The AC Marriott Bozeman is a 143 room hotel located in the heart of downtown Bozeman. The 90,000 square foot building offers a south facing rooftop patio with views over downtown Bozeman and the Gallatin Range. Rooms on the North side will have exceptional views of the Bridger Range.

The superstructure is 5 levels of wood framing on top of a 12” PT deck with a slab on grade foundation. The project started in May 2020, the superstructure was completed in February 2021, and the project is scheduled to wrap up in November 2021.

To meet the aggressive 17-month schedule and $22 million dollar budget, the project delivery team has been successfully using LEAN Principles and the Last Planner System. Featuring daily huddles, open communications and regular pull planning sessions, the team has successfully reduced wasted time and maximized productivity with constrained man power, implementing DAC’s safety program.
