DAC is the Design-Builder for the new First Security Bank Missoula Headquarters project. The project is a ground-up 3-story, 38,000 sf headquarters building to consolidate the Owner’s Missoula offices into a new single building. The project is located in the Southgate Triangle, marking one of the first commercial projects to invest in the Midtown area in accordance with the district's emerging master plan.
The project was originally conceived to be constructed of structural steel and concrete, but the Owner wanted a structure that would pay homage to the region's heritage and meet LEED requirements. The project team ultimately settled on mass timber construction, the first of its kind in the region. The project also includes extensive curtainwall exterior and terra cotta cladding, and a detached maintenance building with complete site parking lot improvements.
