Car wash facility consisting of 2 automatic car wash bays. One exceeded 100 feet in length and moved cars using a dual-track conveyor system installed in the pit of the main tunnel. The 2nd automatic wash bay is available 24 hours a day and is a touchless car wash system where the car remains stationary during the washing process. In addition, five self-serve car wash bays are enclosed on the sides with masonry walls. The main building structure was a pre-engineered metal building that bolted together. ACM panels cover the majority of the exterior of the building, and translucent roof panels cover the main tunnel roof, allowing ample natural light into the facility. Three nearby buildings house the vacuums for the 31 vacuum stalls surrounding a small vending and mat-cleaning building.
Almost the entire site was paved with 6" of concrete, save for the minimal landscaping, including a retention pond. Several large areas surrounding the building included a glycol snowmelt system beneath the concrete.
It is important to note that almost all the materials were supplied by the Owner and that most of the project costs are related to labor, except site work, concrete, and most of the electrical scope.
