The new coffee shop is on the corner of 5th and Grand, directly across from Senior High School. This was the first City Brew built with their new layout, which includes only a walk-up window and drive-through.
DAC was preselected for this project, but there was limited preconstruction. We did the site work and building foundation early so we could get a head start on construction while the building portion of the project was being bid. This helped us start in August rather than in October. We also provided many value engineering options for the owner's group. They did accept most of the proposed value engineering options we presented.
