Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources Coordinator at Dick Anderson Construction. We seek a skilled professional to support our HR department in various administrative and coordination tasks. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in talent management, data collection, and project management within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Process, verify, and maintain personnel-related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, employee classifications, etc.
- Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
- Track new hires
- Prepare and set up testing and orientation for new employees
- Track and monitor company MVR program
- Track and monitor company CDL quarterly random testing and WY random drug testing program
- Gather personnel records from other departments or employees as needed
- Examine employee files to obtain information for authorized persons and organizations
- Assist with employment verification as necessary
- Process and review employment applications to evaluate the qualifications or eligibility of applicants
- Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify eligible workers of position availability
- Assist in reference checks
- Compile and prepare necessary reports
- Transitioning hard copy personnel files to an electronic file platform
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
– Proven experience in HR coordination or related roles. Minimum of two years.
– Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
– Knowledge of human capital management principles and best practices.
– Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
– Detail-oriented approach to data collection and reporting.
– Understanding of project management fundamentals within an HR context.
