Case Studies

Going to the Sun Sewer

The Going to the Sun Sewer Project in Glacier National Park in Montana presented many challenges for the DAC team. Construction restrictions in the national park and a tight time frame in which work had to be done – from September 15 to November 1 – were the most challenging. The project for the Federal Highway Administration called for laying more than 27,000 linear feet of sewer line on the shoulder of Glacier’s beautiful-but-daunting Going to the Sun Highway. The $716,591 project started in September 2014 and finished up in April 2015.
